Cherry Hill, N.J. - The Boston University women's openweight rowing team opened its 2018 spring season competing at the Doc Hosea Invite on Saturday.

The Terriers sent out three boats on the day and competed against 11 other crews from Cornell, Dartmouth, Northeastern, Penn, Rutgers, Syracuse, Indiana, URI, UMass, Minnesota and Navy. After racing in early-morning heat races, all three BU boats competed in the petite finals and finished sixth.

After this weekend's competition, the Terriers will return home to compete against BC and URI on the Charles River April 7.
