Tolman Receives CRCA All-American Honorable Mention
July 16, 2018 | Women's Rowing
Recent graduate Kitty Tolman of the Boston University women's rowing team received All-America honorable mention from the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association, the organization announced on Saturday.
Tolman sat in the four seat of the Terriers' varsity eight boat that advanced to the grand final and won silver at the Patriot League Championships on May 11. The BU V8 finished ahead of boats from Bucknell, Georgetown, MIT, Colgate, Lehigh, Holy Cross and Loyola and finished second overall in team points to PL Champion Navy.
Each year the coaches of the CRCA recognize the outstanding student athletes in each Division. All-American athletes are selected from those athletes already named First-Team All Region. Criteria considered for selection include: boat performance, nomination rank, coach's comments, individual achievements, and 2k erg score. One coxswain is named to each team.
