RESULTS

BOSTON - In a meet that came down to the final event of the night, the 400 free relay, the Boston University men's swimming & diving team took the top finish to defeat Boston College, 148.5-142.5, Saturday afternoon at Competition Pool in its final dual meet of the regular season.

Honoring Judson Balding, Michael Choate, Alex Ewart, Jake Goroshko, Cameron Schoffstall, Matt Traub, and Trevor Winans on Senior Day, the Terriers ended the regular season with an 8-1 record, which includes a 4-0 mark in dual meets as well as home meets.

The 400 free relay team of Judson Balding, Adam Orringer-Hau, Winans, Traub finished with a time of 3:03.28, while the team of Goroshko, Paolo Casas, Hunter Trambaugh, Tommy Hagerty ticked in at 3:06.76 to secure the win.

BU swept the free events as Balding tied for first in the 50 and 100 free, Trevor Winans took the 200 and 500 free, and Tommy Hagerty touched the wall first in the 1000 free with a time of 9:21.90 to set a new school record. Cameron Schoffstall also picked up a sweep in the one-meter and three-meter dive.
