Lu, Hartenstein End Fall Slate at Harvard Chowder Fest

ALLSTON, Mass. – Junior Owen Lu and sophomore Max Hartenstein competed in the final fall event for the Boston University men's tennis team at the three-day Chowder Fest hosted by Harvard.
The duo recorded a pair of 6-4 wins against doubles teams from Virginia Tech and Cornell before dropping a 6-2 decision to Harvard.
In singles, Lu battled Constantin Zoske to a pair of tiebreakers in a hard-fought 7-6(5), 7-6(5) loss. After falling to Virginia Tech's Alexandre Ribeiro (6-2, 6-2), he rallied to force a third set against Indiana's Payam Ahmadi in a 6-2, 4-6, 6-4 defeat.
Hartenstein fell to Harvard's Logan Weber, 6-0, 7-6(5), and to Zoske, 6-1, 6-2.
The Terriers will next take to the court in 75 days at Sacred Heart on Saturday, Jan. 25, with a 5:30 p.m. start time.
