BOSTON - The men's and women's track & field teams will conclude their indoor season when they host the BU Last Chance Meet at the TTC on Sunday, the final day of the season for athletes to qualify for the NCAA Championships.

Student-athletes competing will need to finish with one of the top 16 results in the country in a given event to qualify for nationals.

For the women, senior Jordan Coverson and junior Leah Fowlkes will compete in the 400m dash needing at least a time of 53.12 (currently the 16th best in the nation) in order to qualify for the NCAA Championships. Coverson's personal best in the event is 56.34 while Fowlkes best is 54.64.

Coverson will also compete in the 60m dash along with senior Ayodele Adesanya. Both will need a time of 7.27 to advance to nationals. Coverson's best time in the event is 7.91 while Adesanya's is 7.75.

Also competing on Sunday will be BU's school record holder in the weight throw senior Sarah Cicchetti. Cicchetti will need a throw of 21.39m (70' 2.25") to qualify while her personal best in the weight throw is 17.66m (57' 11.25).

On the men's side, sophomore Nikolas Smith is scheduled to compete in the 60m dash needing at least a 6.63 to qualify for nationals. Smith's best time in the event is 6.91.
