WEST POINT, N.Y. – In a rematch of last year's Patriot League quarterfinal contest, the Boston University men's tennis team came up just short to Lehigh, 4-2, on Saturday afternoon at Army West Point's Lichtenberg Tennis Center.
The Mountain Hawks (10-6, 3-1 PL) won two of three doubles matches, including a 7-6 decision, for the first point and then claimed three singles points to avenge last year's loss to the Terriers (7-14, 2-3 PL).

- Lehigh opened doubles with a 6-1 win at line 1, but freshman Max Hartenstein and junior J.P. Avila earned a 6-3 victory to keep the first point up for grabs.
- The Mountain Hawks though edged sophomores Pete Siozios and Ethan Kolsky for the crucial doubles point.
- Sophomore Owen Lu bounced back from his No. 1 doubles loss with a dominating 6-3, 6-1 victory in the top singles slot.
- Lehigh earned a 6-3, 6-2 win at line 6 against junior Marc Sable and then held off sophomore David Bogatin, 6-4, 6-4, to extend the lead to 3-1.
- Siozios won just two games in the first set of the No. 3 match but then dropped just four total in a 2-6, 6-2, 6-2 win to keep BU alive.
- Both freshmen Max Stehling and Hartenstein rallied as well to force a third set , but Lehigh's Bryant Born broke Stehling's serve to at line 4 to clinch Lehigh's win, 6-4, 6-7, 6-3.
- Hartenstin was in a 5-7, 6-3, 4-4 deadlock when his match was halted.
- The Terriers will wrap up the regular season with a road trip to Colgate for two matches, starting with a neutral-site contest against Bucknell on Saturday (April 13) at 11 a.m.
- BU defeated the Bison, 4-1, last season on the road.
