Terriers Battle Blustery Conditions in Second Round of NCAA Regional

CLE ELUM, Wash. - Sophomore Katerina Doleckova carded a 75 to lead the Boston University golf team in the second round of the Cle Elum Regional of the 2019 NCAA Women's Golf Regional Championships hosted by the University of Washington at Tumble Creek Club.
Doleckova birdied two holes and eagled the par-5 15th hole as part of her performance on Tuesday. She now sits in 81st place with a two-day total of 159 (84-75). BU as a team combined for a 318 during a windy day on the course and now has a 36-hole score of 625 (307-318) to remain in 16th place.
Freshman Hanako Kawasaki collected two birdies en route to a 79. She is now tied for 40th with a score of 150 (71-79). Senior Megan Carter finished with an 82 on Tuesday and is tied for 78th with a score of 157 (75-82). Junior Zhangcheng Guo enters Wednesday in a tie for 84th (79-82--161) while classmate Abby Parsons posted an 84 on Tuesday for a two-day total of 166 (82-84).
BU will conclude the 54-hole regional on Wednesday, with the first tee time set for 10:20 a.m.
