Men's Tennis Lands Five on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Coming off a Patriot League semifinal appearance, five members of the Boston University men's tennis team earned a spot on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the conference announced Wednesday afternoon.
BU had five recognized for the third time in four years with all five Terriers are majoring in business administration and management.
Junior J.P. Avila (Holland, Mich.) posted a team-high 3.75 GPA and was placed on the list for the third consecutive year alongside classmate Marc Sable (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.), who earned a 3.40 GPA.
Sophomore David Bogatin (Los Angeles, Calif.) was recognized for the second time with a 3.48 GPA, while classmate Owen Lu (Guangzhou, China) recorded a 3.21 GPA for his second honor. Freshman Max Hartenstein (Karlsruhe, Germany) claimed a 3.71 GPA for his first award.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
