BOSTON – The Boston University men's basketball team will take its first summer tour out of the United State since 2014 when the Terriers embark on a tour of Spain in August.

Featuring four exhibition games against opponents to be determined, the tour will take place from August 9-19, coinciding with the break between summer and fall academic terms.

The Terriers will spend the first three days in Madrid, the Spanish capital, where they play their first contest and also take a day trip to Toledo. On their way to Valencia, they will compete in their second matchup and then relax at Cabanyal Beach. Over the final four days, BU will sightsee in Barcelona and face off against two more opponents before returning to Boston.

Ninth-year head coach Joe Jones last went overseas with the program to Italy in August of 2014. BU previously competed at the Kainan Tournament in Taiwan in May of 2007.
