Four Terriers Selected for U.S. National Junior Team Camp

Sophomores Robert Mastrosimone and Alex Vlasic, freshman Drew Commesso and Trevor Zegras have all been named to the 29-man roster for the U.S. National Junior Team camp in preparations for the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship, to be held Dec. 25 - Jan. 5 in Edmonton.
Commesso, Mastrosimone and Vlasic are all attempting to play in their first World Junior tournament and Mastrosimone was among the final cuts to last year's roster. Zegras made his World Junior debut last year as a freshman at BU and turned some heads on the big stage, totaling nine assists - all primary - to finish first among all players in that category while leading Team USA in points.
The training camp is set to begin on Dec. 6 at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Mich. Players are auditioning for a spot on the final 25-player roster that will represent the United States in Edmonton. The final roster will be announced on Dec. 13, prior to the team's departure from Plymouth to Canada that day.
BU has had 18 representatives on Team USA at World Juniors since 2014, which is the most of any school.
