2020 Patriot League Woman of the Year Abigail Gugel of the Boston University women's track & field and cross country program was the guest in this week's edition of Terrier Tuesdays.
Gugel was selected as the conference's nominee for the NCAA Woman of the Year award in August after a fantastic cross country campaign. She won the 2019 Patriot League individual cross country championship thanks to an impressive performance, as she finished 16 seconds clear of her nearest competitor. Gugel then earned Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors after she boasted an impressive 3.61 GPA this fall as a biology major. She is a four-time Dean's List selection and is a four-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in cross country.
