Kuan Leads Terriers to Victory over Holy Cross

BROCKTON, Mass. - Led by freshman Flair Kuan's 75, the Boston University golf team defeated Holy Cross in a medal play event on Thursday afternoon at Thorny Lea GC.
BU combined for a score of 316 while Holy Cross posted a team total of 360 on a chilly, windy day. Kuan's 75 led the 12-person field thanks to an even-par 36 on the back nine. She finished the afternoon with two birdies. Junior Hanako Kawasaki sank a team-best three birdies en route to a 79, which put her in second place. Sophomore Monica Yu and graduate student Zhangcheng Guo each shot 81 to tie for third, while sophomores Alice Fan and Kristen Min Ju Kim tied for fifth with a score of 83.
The Terriers will close out the regular season on Sunday when they join Holy Cross, Hartford and Fairfield at the Hartford/Gillette Ridge Invitational.
