Guo Named Patriot League Golfer of the Week

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Graduate student Zhangcheng Guo has been named Patriot League Golfer of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Guo was outstanding in the Terriers' season-opening victory at the FDU Invitational this past weekend. She led the Terriers individually with a 36-hole score of 151 (78-73) to finish fourth, just four shots behind the leader. Guo made a great up and down from the bunker on her last hole of the tournament to finish the final round with a one-over 73, the low round of the afternoon. Her slippery six-foot putt closed out a one-under 35 on the back nine, and it proved to be the difference as it clinched the Terriers' first team title since the 2019 William & Mary Invitational.
This is Guo's first Patriot League Golfer of the Week Award. She is a two-time All-Patriot League selection, including first-team honors in 2018.
