FLEMING ISLAND, Fla. - Freshman Wendy Li won the individual title at the SHU Spring Break Invite by a single stroke as the Boston University women's golf team placed fourth in its spring opener at Eagle Harbor Golf Club on Tuesday.
Li finished the day where she started as she held a one-stroke lead entering the final round and held off the competition with a 77 on Tuesday to edge Fairfield's Addie Change and Manhattan's Jayden Peters by a stroke for her first collegiate title.
BU placed fourth among six teams with a score of 624 (303-321).
