Women's Cross Country Places 18 on PL Academic Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Eighteen members of the reigning Patriot League champion Boston University women's cross country team were named to the 2020-21 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the conference announced on Monday.
BU has placed at least 10 harriers on every Patriot League Academic Honor Roll since the Terriers joined the conference eight years ago.
All three of the Terriers' All-Patriot League selections were named to the honor roll, including first-team runners Andrea Claeson and Sophia Jacobs-Townsley. Claeson is the reigning Patriot League Women's Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year. In addition, Second Team All-Patriot League honoree Madeline Bachmann was also recognized on this list. Every Terrier who helped BU win the Patriot League title was named to the Academic Honor Roll.
To be eligible for the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade point average (GPA) in the academic semester which coincides with their sport.
