January 28, 2022 | Women's Ice Hockey
Davis was the 2019 Beanpot MVP as her overtime goal gave BU its first win since 1981 and the first as a varsity program. In her eight Beanpot games, Davis tallied nine points on three goals and six assists and was part of three teams that advanced to the championship round. Davis had a flair for the dramatic, as she scored the tying goal with 22.8 seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime in the 2020 championship game.
A native of Pembroke, Mass., Davis finished her illustrious Terrier career with 142 points (66g, 76a) in 147 games, which ranks sixth all-time in program history. Davis was a two-time Hockey East All-Star, earning first-team honors in 2020. She also was a Hockey East Distinguished Scholar and won the 2020 Sarah Devens Award, which is presented annually to a player who "demonstrates leadership and commitment both on and off the ice."
Davis, the number one overall selection of the Boston Pride following graduation in 2020, has shined in her first two seasons in the Premier Hockey Federation, winning the 2021Isobel Cup as a member of the Pride. Davis has tallied six points (2g, 4a) in 10 games this year and will skate at the PHF All-Star Showcase this weekend.
