
Women's Golf in Second After Opening Round of SHU Fall Classic

MILFORD, Conn. - The Boston University women's golf team opened play at the Sacred Heart Classic on Sunday and posted a 299 (+11) to sit in second place among 10 teams at Great River Golf Club.
The tournament's reigning champion, BU will enter Monday's second and final round just three strokes behind host Sacred Heart.
Junior Flair Kuan was the Terriers' top performer on Sunday, carding a 1-over 73, which tied for the best score of the day. Sophomore Christy Chen and senior Alice Fan were right behind, each shooting a 2-over 74.
Senior Monica Yu recorded a 78 for the Terriers' fourth score while sophomore Victoria Takai turned in an 81 in her season debut. Competing as individuals, senior Kristen Min Ju Kim and sophomore Andrea Balaguer shot an 83 and an 87, respectively. Balaguer was making her collegiate debut.
