MELBOURNE, Fla. - The Boston University women's golf team wrapped up competition at the Columbia Classic on Sunday at Duran Golf Club and placed 11th in an impressive field.
Sophomore Flair Kuan was the Terriers' top finisher at 6-over (222), good for a tie for 12th in the 80-golfer tournament. Senior Hanako Kawasaki tied for 38th at +14 (230) while freshman Christy Chen and junior Alice Fan were in a tie for 67th at +28. Freshman Victoria Takai was 73rd with a 250 (+34).
The Terriers were in the middle of a handful of Ivy League schools, finishing ahead of Columbia and Dartmouth and right behind Princeton and Yale.
BU will return to action on March 7-8 when they head to North Carolina for the River Landing Classic.
