Men's Tennis Falls at Drexel, 7-0

PHILADELPHIA – In a meeting of two former America East rivals, the Boston University men's tennis team fell at Drexel, 7-0, on Saturday afternoon.
The Dragons (6-1) pulled out a hard-fought doubles point and then claimed all six singles points with two matches requiring a third set against the Terriers (0-8).
Freshman Dion Loutas led BU by teaming with sophomore Ben Letzer for a 7-5 win at No. 3 doubles and then winning the most games in singles action with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 loss in the No. 2 slot.
Sophomore Jonah Dickson and freshman Gabe Brown nearly secured the doubles point but came up just short to Drexel in the No. 2 tiebreaker for a hard-fought 7-6(6) defeat.
Freshman Adrian Pawlowski rallied to force a super tiebreakerin the No. 4 singles flight but ultimately fell, 6-1, 5-7, 10-8, while sophomore Johann Sajonz dropped his second-set tiebreaker for a 6-3, 7-6(6) loss at line 6.
The Terriers will next visit Dartmouth on Saturday, March 5, for a 4 p.m. start.
