Hamilton Named Patriot League Rookie of the Week

EASTON, Pa. - After putting together ECAC-qualifying marks in both the long jump and high jump over the weekend, freshman Asia Hamilton of the Boston University track & field team has been named the Patriot League Women's Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday.
At the Harvard Crimson Elite meet on Friday, Hamilton finished second in the long jump with a leap of 5.99 meters (19' 8"), which was the best in the Patriot League thus far this season. She also finished third in the high jump with a height of 1.70 meters (5' 7").
This is the first weekly honor of Hamilton's collegiate career.
