QUEENS, N.Y. – Visiting the USTA National Tennis Center, the Boston University men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to St. John's.

The Red Storm (10-2) won the first two doubles matches for the first point and then captured five of the six singles points in straight sets to defeat the Terriers (0-12).

Freshman Dion Loutas put up a valiant effort against 120th-ranked Axel Vila Antuna, who finished with enough breaks for a 6-4, 6-3 win in the top singles slot. Sophomore Jonah Dickson was one game away from winning his second set when his opponent, Carl Gustavsson, retired due to injury for BU's lone point of the match.

The Terriers will next visit Sacred Heart on Sunday (March 20) at 6 p.m.
