Men's Tennis Drops PL Opener at Navy, 4-0

The Midshipmen (18-7, 1-0 PL) won all three doubles matches and then captured three singles points in straight sets to defeat the Terriers (1-14). The other three singles matches were left unfinished, as BU won a set in two of the contests and was tied in the second in the third.
Sophomore Jonah Dickson led 2021 All-PL First Team honoree and 2019 PL Rookie of the Year Derrick Thompson in the top singles slot, 6-4, 1-6, 1-0 when his matched was halted. Classmate Ben Letzer also won his first set and was ahead, 7-5, 1-5, at line 5. Freshman Gabe Brown was trying to rally and force a third set in the No. 4 slot as he trailed, 6-3, 4-4.
The Terriers will next continue PL play by traveling to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, to face Colgate on Saturday (April 2) at 10 a.m. and then host Bucknell on Sunday (April 3) at 10 a.m.
