No. 3 Lightweights to Race Bates Sunday Morning

BOSTON – Ranked No. 3 in the first IRA Coaches Poll, the Boston University women's lightweight rowing team will host Bates Sunday morning at the DeWolfe Boathouse with a 7 a.m. start time on the Charles River.
The Terriers opened the spring schedule last weekend with a sweep against the Boston College openweights, including an open-water victory in the varsity eight race.
The Bobcats went to California to compete in the two-day San Diego Crew Classic with the varsity eight boat placing sixth out of seven in the B Final. They are ranked No. 2 in the Pocock Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) poll for NCAA Division III openweight crews.
The Terriers won all three races against Bates back in 2019, including an 11-second victory in the varsity eight race.
