Women's Rowing to Open Spring Schedule with MIT Saturday Morning
April 1, 2022 | Women's Rowing
BOSTON – Seeing its first action of the spring, the Boston University women's rowing team will race fellow Patriot League member MIT Saturday morning with action set to begin at 8 a.m.
The Terriers will be racing on the Charles River for the first time since posting the fastest times in both varsity eight and varsity four competitions at the Foot of the Charles last fall. During the Head of the Charles, BU had four top-11 finishes with the championship eight boat posting the 10th-fastest collegiate time to finish ahead of several notable top boats, including crews from Tennessee, Radcliffe, Minnesota Dartmouth and Northeastern.
MIT did not row last spring so will be directly racing against BU for the first time since the 2019 Patriot League Championship in which the Terriers took third and the Engineers placed sixth overall.
SATURDAY'S RACE SCHEDULE
8:00 a.m. - V8
8:38 a.m. - 2V8
9:14 a.m. - V4
