Men's Tennis Posts 4-1 Win at Holy Cross

WORCESTER, Mass. – Opening the final week of the regular season, the Boston University men's tennis team claimed a 4-1 win at Holy Cross on Wednesday afternoon.
The Terriers (3-15, 2-2 PL) bounced back after dropping the doubles point by capturing four singles points, including three in straight sets, to defeat the Crusaders (2-14, 1-6 PL).
HC jumped out to the 1-0 lead by pulling out a 6-3 victory in the top slot and then by winning two other contests by two games apiece (7-5, 6-4). Senior Zak Schneider and sophomore Owen Voigt prevented the sweep with a 6-3 win at line 4.
Freshman Gabe Brown dropped the fewest games with a dominating 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles, while both freshman Dion Loutas (#2) and sophomore Johann Sajonz (#5) both dropped just five games apiece.
Sophomore Ben Letzer collected the other point by rallying from a set down to post a 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 victory at line 6.
The Terriers will next head to Lehigh's campus for a pair of Patriot League contests. They'll first face Army on Saturday (April 16) and then the Mountain Hawks on Sunday (April 17).
