No. 4 Lightweights to Race No. 2 Harvard, No. 7 MIT for Beanpot Saturday Morning

BOSTON – After claiming six medals at the Knecht Cup, the No. 4 Boston University women's lightweight rowing team will conclude the home schedule by facing No. 2 Harvard-Radcliffe and No. 7 MIT Saturday morning on the Charles River with the Beanpot and Muri Cup up for grabs.

The varsity eight boats start off the competition at 8:50 a.m. on ESPN+. The Terriers will have two varsity four boats compete at 9:30 a.m. and then two doubles take to the water at 10:00 a.m.

BU has won the last four Beanpot/Muri Cup races with the three programs meeting on the Charles River for the first time since 2019.

Last weekend, the Terriers won the doubles and varsity four at the Knecht Cup. So far this spring, they've won all six races with sweeps against openweight programs from Boston College and Bates.
