Women's Rowing to Host Boston College, Eastern Michigan Saturday Morning

BOSTON – The Boston University women's rowing team will continue the spring schedule by racing both Boston College and Eastern Michigan out of the DeWolfe Boathouse on the Charles River Saturday morning with the ESPN+ broadcast set to begin at 7:50 a.m.
The Terriers opened last weekend by defeating fellow Patriot League member MIT in all three races. BC faced both North Carolina and Bucknell, winning the V4 and 3V8 against the Tar Heels before winning the 2V8, V4 and 2V4 against the Bison. EMU most recently defeated Duquesne in the top two varsity eight races.
After beating the Engineers by five seconds, BU's varsity eight boat will start things off against BC and EMU, who are both known as the Eagles, at 8 a.m. with the second varsity eight following at 8:15 a.m. The varsity four and second varsity four boats will wrap up the competition at 8:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m., respectively.
Last season, BU raced BC on two different weekends and won both the V8 and 2V8 each time with the Eagles prevailing in the V4. They split in the 2V4.
