Yuhn Named Hockey East Rookie of the Week

AMESBURY, Mass. - After helping the Boston University women's ice hockey team claim seven of nine points over three games, freshman Clara Yuhn has been named the Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday.
Yuhn recorded a goal and two assists over the three games and added a plus-2 rating while winning 68.8 percent of her faceoff attempts.
The forward from Bloomfield Hills, Mich., earned an assist in the 3-3 draw at Maine on Friday before recording a goal and an assist in a 3-1 road win over UNH on Saturday.
This is the first Hockey East award of Yuhn's career and she currently ranks tied for fifth on the team in points with 10 on five goals and five asssists.
