Women's Golf Finishes Seventh at Harvard Invitational

OSPREY, Fla. - The Boston University women's golf team finished seventh in the Harvard Invitational over the weekend at The Oaks Club.

After 36 holes were played on Saturday, the tournament was weather-shortened on Sunday to just nine holes. The Terriers posted a +38 (297-308-153--758) to place seventh in the eight-team field.

Christy Chen was BU's top performer, tying for 18th in her sixth top-20 finish of the season. The sophomore posted a +6 (73-75-38--186).

Junior Flair Kuan tied for 30th at +11 (73-76-42--191) and freshman Annika Manjunath was one stroke behind at +12 (75-80-37--192) to place her tied for 33rd, resulting in her best collegiate finish.

Seniors Alice Fan (76-77-41--194) and Kristen Min Ju Kim (77-80-36--194) tied for 39th at +14 while sophomore Victoria Takai competed as an individual and finished tied for 43rd at +16 (76-83-37--196).

Manjunath (75), Kim (77) and Takai (76) all started off the tournament with their best rounds of the season.

BU will close out the regular season next weekend at the SHU Spring Invitational on April 16-17.
