Letzer Earns Academic All-Patriot League Accolades

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Excelling on the court and in the classroom, Boston University men's tennis junior Ben Letzer has earned Academic All-Patriot League Honors, the conference office announced Wednesday afternoon.
A native of Okemos, Michigan, Letzer played a key role in helping the Terriers post 14 wins after combining for 18 over the previous four years. BU also reach its first conference tournament final since 1999, as he finished third on the team with 11 singles victories, including four at line 5, and five doubles wins.
During the PL tournament, Letzer led in all three of his singles matches at the end, highlighted by a 1-6, 6-2, 6-3 victory over Army to help the Terriers defeat the Black Knights for the first time since 2011. Other notable wins including a line 3 victory at UC Riverside and No. 4 win at Wagner.
On the academic front, Letzer owns a cumulative 3.77 GPA while majoring in business administration and management. He's a two-time ITA Scholar-Athlete (3.50+ GPA) and two-time PL Academic Honor Roll member.
