PEABODY, Mass. — The Boston University men's tennis team opened the fall slate of the 2024-25 season with the BU Invite, taking five of eight matches against Brandeis this past weekend.
Senior
Dion Loutas defeated Pierce Garbett 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-3) in the second singles match. In the third singles, graduate student
Jonah Dickson won 6-3, 1-6, 1-0 (10-8) over Daniel Shemesh, while in fourth singles, senior
Adrian Pawlowski won 7-5, 6-4 over Aidan Wang-Fan, and
Gabe Brown took the win in straight sets (6-4, 6-4) over Huasen Dong.
In second doubles, Esterowitz and Loutas earned the win over Garbett and BU teammate
Cole Knutsen, 6-4.
