Craig Named Patriot League Player of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After collecting a pair of No. 1 singles wins in straight sets, Boston University men's tennis sophomore Corey Craig has earned Patriot League Player of the Week honors, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon.
A native of Coconut Creek, Florida, he was recognized for the second time after receiving his first honor last spring en route to 2023 PL Rookie of the Year honors.
In the Terriers' 6-1 win over Fordham, he posted a 7-5, 6-3 victory. He followed up with a 6-3, 6-3 win at Sacred Heart and also teamed with classmate Jakob Esterowitz for a 7-6(3) win in the No. 3 doubles slot, as BU rolled to a 5-2 win.
The Terriers will next compete in a doubleheader on Saturday (Feb. 10), first visit MIT at 1 p.m. and then facing Stonehill at the Waltham Athletic Club with a 6:45 p.m. start time.
