Men's Basketball Travels to Bucknell for Saturday Afternoon Tilt

BOSTON – Following a two-game homestand, the Boston University men's basketball team will embark on a two-game road trip, starting at Bucknell on Saturday with a 2 p.m. start time.
With seven games remaining in the regular season, the middle of the Patriot League standings are jam packed. Still in the hunt for a top-four seed, the Terriers are currently in a four-way tie for fifth with Loyola Maryland and Wednesday's opponent, Army, just one game behind. Having won four of their last five games, the Bison are tied for third alongside American.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- The Terriers are 4-9 on the road this season after splitting their most recent road trip with a 62-48 win at current No. 2 Lafayette (62-48) and 65-63 loss at Holy Cross.
- In the five Patriot League road contests, BU has led at the half in four of the games, posting a 1-3 record with losses to the Crusaders, Navy (62-60) and Colgate (75-59). In the one game the Terriers trailed at Loyola Maryland, they overcame an early 18-point second half deficit to claim a 60-58 victory.
- Senior Miles Brewster is averaging a team-high 10.4 ppg by shooting 41.5 percent from behind the arc while adding 3.8 rpg and 3.2 apg alongside 37 steals.
- Sophomore Otto Landrum leads BU in the paint at 6.0 rpg with 8.5 ppg and 19 blocks, while junior Ethan Okwuosa owns 7.9 ppg and 4.4 rpg.
- Overall, the Terriers are averaging 64.0 ppg and 40.1 FG% while holding opponents to 66.0 ppg and 42.5 FG%.
- The Bison are led by first-year head coach John Griffin and his younger brother, assistant coach Matt Griffin ('12), who was a former captain for the Terriers.
- Bucknell is 4-6 at home compared to the 6-8 road mark with PL wins vs. Loyola Maryland (67-52), Navy (71-63) and Holy Cross (70-58) alongside a non-conference win against Southern Indiana (67-56). The two conference losses came against Colgate (84-73) and American (71-63).
- Three Bison are averaging in double figures with former Saint Joseph's transfer and 6-foot-5 guard Jack Forrest owning a team-high 16.7 ppg.
- 7-foot-0 center Noah Williamson is second at 12.9 ppg while leading Bucknell at 6.3 rpg.
- The Bison are averaging 66.3 ppg and 43.8 FG% while holding opponents to 69.7 ppg and 43.9 FG%
- The Bison lead the all-time series, 15-11, but BU is 6-2 over the last eight meetings.
- In the previous contest back on Jan. 17, Bucknell built a 33-20 halftime lead to 20 points (49-29) with 13:31 remaining. Later facing a 56-45 deficit with 6:36 remaining, BU clawed its way within six at 4:44 but would not get any closer in the 73-57 loss.
- The Terriers finished the game shooting 35.6 FG%, while the Bison shot 46.4 FG% with Forrest tallying a game-high 26 points against Morales' 21 points.
- BU is 5-7 all-time at Sojka Pavilion following last year's 69-61 victory in which the Terriers overcame a 38-30 halftime deficit by shooting 50 FG% over the final 20 minutes and holding the Bison to 33.3 FG%.
- BU will head to Army West Point on Wednesday (Feb. 14) for a 6 p.m. tip.
- The Black Knights won the first meeting, 69-59, back on Jan. 24 at Case Gym.
