Men's Tennis Wraps Regular Season with 4-1 Victory over Lehigh

MANCHESTER, Mass. – Concluding the regular season, the Boston University men's tennis team posted a 4-1 victory over Lehigh Sunday morning.
With the victory, the Terriers (18-7, 6-0 PL) will enter a Patriot League tournament (April 26-28) undefeated in conference play for the first time. They captured the doubles point and won three singles matches in straight sets, as the Mountain Hawks fell to 10-10 (3-3 PL).
Sophomore Corey Craig went 2-0 to lead BU, first teaming with classmate Alejandro Licea for a 6-3 doubles win in the top slot. Craig followed up with a 6-1, 6-4 victory at No. 1 singles after senior Jonah Dickson and junior Adrian Pawlowski posted 6-3 win on court No. 3 to clinch the doubles point.
Junior Dion Loutas dropped just one game in a dominating 6-0, 6-1 win in the No. 4 singles slot, and freshman Gustavs Dambins cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 victory at court 5.
Lehigh avoided the sweep with a 7-5, 6-1 win at line 6.
The Terriers will await the official unveiling of the seeds next week for the Patriot League tournament, which will be held on April 26-28 at Army West Point.
