Craig Claims Sixth Patriot League Player of the Week Honor

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After winning all four matches, Boston University men's tennis sophomore Corey Craig has earned his sixth Patriot League Player of the Week award, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon.
Already the owner for the PL record for weekly awards in one year, the Coconut Creek, Florida, native went 2-0 at both No. 1 singles and doubles to help the Terriers finish the regular season unbeaten in conference play with wins over Army West Point and Lehigh.
The 2023 PL Rookie of the Year won 24 of the 31 games played in singles action, first cruising to a 6-0, 6-2 win over the Black Knights' Daniel Zhou. He followed with a 6-1, 6-4 victory against the Mountain Hawks' Matt Kleiman.
In doubles play, he teamed with fellow sophomore Alejandro Licea for two wins by a combined score of 12-5.
The Terriers will next await the official unveiling of the PL tournament seeds and begin seeking their first ever automatic NCAA bid on Friday, April 26, with Army serving as host.
