Men's Ice Hockey Announces 2024-25 Schedule

June 5, 2024

BOSTON - Highlighted by 18 games at Agganis Arena and the Friendship Four in Belfast, the Boston University men's ice hockey team announced its 2024-25 schedule on Wednesday.

Sixteen of the Terriers' 34 regular-season contests will take place at Agganis, as will exhibitions against Harvard (Oct. 19) and the U.S. National Under-18 Team (Dec. 13). Agganis will host five doubleheaders with the men's and women's programs during the first semester, which will feature a women's game at 3 p.m., followed by a men's game at 7 p.m. The remaining game times will be announced later this summer.

Agganis Arena will be undergoing some exciting enhancements, including a new video board and audio system, plus upgrades in Terrier displays and concessions. Fans can purchase season tickets by clicking here.

BU will open its 2024-25 slate with a four-game homestead, beginning on Oct. 5 against Holy Cross. The Terriers will then welcome Union (Oct. 12) and UConn (Oct. 18) before the aforementioned exhibition against the Crimson.

The Terriers will trek to North Dakota on Oct. 25-26 for their first games at Ralph Englestad Arena since 2012. They'll then host Michigan on Nov. 1-2 before beginning a home-and-home series with UMass Lowell on Nov. 8 at Agganis.

After a weekend series at Maine (Nov. 15-16) and a home date with Merrimack (Nov. 22), BU will return to Belfast, Northern Ireland, for the 2024 Friendship Four. Merrimack, Harvard and Notre Dame will join the Terriers in Europe for two games on Nov. 29 and 30. Matchups for that tournament will be announced next week.

BU will conclude the first semester with a home-and-home series against UMass (Dec. 7 & 11) and an exhibition against the U.S. Under-18 Team. After ending the calendar year at Yale (Dec. 29), the Terriers will host Vermont on Jan. 10-11 before a home-and-home series with New Hampshire (Jan. 17-18). The Battle of Comm Ave will begin on Jan. 24 at Agganis before BU and Boston College meet in Chestnut Hill the next night.

After another home date against UNH (Jan. 31), the Terriers will face Harvard in the opening round of the 72nd Dunkin' Men's Beanpot at TD Garden on Feb. 3. A road contest at Merrimack (Feb. 7) will take place between those first two Mondays in February before the Terriers close the year with six straight league games.

All home and Hockey East games will be broadcast on ESPN+, as will the Terriers' Dec. 29 trip to Yale.
