BOSTON – The Boston University women's rowing program concluded its tenure at the 60th Head of the Charles with two crews competing on Sunday (Oct. 19) at DeWolfe Boathouse, the starting line for the course.
BU began the afternoon with its Championship 4+ crew, coxed by
Valeria Lizarraga Ramirez and stroked by
Louise Forrester. The crew completed the course in 18:13.140, but were assessed a one-minute play, placing 17th at 19:13.140.
The Terrier Championship 8+, coxed by
Sydney Caragher and stroked by
Raylynn Boston, clocked in at 16:10.241 for 11th place overall. BU was seventh among collegiate crews, besting boats from Clemson, Princeton, Northeastern and Duke.
