WALTHAM, Mass. — The Boston University men's tennis team was bested by the Franklin Pierce Ravens by a 4-3 score on Saturday evening at the Waltham Athletic Club.

Senior Gabe Brown won at first singles, going three sets to defeat Joé Herin of Franklin Pierce 6-3, 6-7 (7-3), 7-5. Also winning in singles was freshman Jaydon Barki, beating his opponent 6-1, 6-4 at line six. The Terriers lost lines two through five, however, clinching the win for the Ravens.

BU still picked up the doubles point, as graduate student Jonah Dickson and senior Cole Knutsen won 7-6 (7-3) at line one while Barki and freshman Ege Topkoc took the win at line three, 6-4.
