MELBOURNE, Fla. - The Boston University women's golf team finished seventh among 12 teams at the Columbia Classic, which took place at Duran Golf Club over the weekend.
BU was 11th after the first round with a 308 and then was the biggest mover in round two, moving up five spots to sixth thanks to a 296. The Terriers posted a 300 in Sunday's final round to finish at plus-40. Illinois State held off Princeton by four strokes to take the title.

Christy Chen was BU's top finisher, turning in a 4-over 220 (76-71-73) to end up in 10th place. Sophomore
Amy Han was two strokes behind at 222 (76-73-73) and finished tied for 12th.
Senior
Victoria Takai opened with a 78 and then had back-to-back rounds of 75 to finish with a 12-over 228, which tied her for 31st. Her sister, Madison, placed 57th (80-77-80--237, +21) and junior
Annika Manjunath was 58th (78-81-79--238, +22).
Playing as individuals, senior
Meiqi Gao (76-80-74--230, +14) and sophomore
Hibiki Adachi (79-78-84--241, +25) placed 41st and tied for 61st, respectively.
The Terriers will take the next six weeks off before returning to action at the Georgia State Invitational on March 24-25.
