Women’s Basketball Clashes With Loyola Maryland on Saturday

BOSTON – Fresh off its first Patriot League victory in the 2025-26 season, the Boston University women's basketball program hosts Loyola Maryland on Saturday (Jan. 17). Opening tip from Case Gym is set for 2 p.m.
BU (5-11, 1-4 PL) plays its third conference home game this season and seeks its first Division I win at The Roof since Nov. 22. The Terriers are shooting nearly 45 percent from the field at Case Gym compared to just 38 percent for opponents.
Loyola Maryland (7-9, 3-2 PL) aims for its second winning streak of at least three games on the year. The Greyhounds have won four of their last five road contests.
Saturday's game airs on ESPN+ with Brian Maurer (COM'07), Jack Hughes and Claire Chen on the call. Live statistics and an audio-only broadcast are available on GoTerriers.com while the Patriot League provides an international stream.
The program is hosting its annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day celebration on Saturday. Autographs with the team and a shootaround take place after the game for fans. Scrunchies are available for fans at the marketing table as well.

- BU snapped its four-game losing streak with a 68-64 win at Lehigh on Jan. 14.
- The Terriers executed a 21-point second quarter on 83.3 percent shooting to hand the Mountain Hawks their first conference loss.
