Women’s Basketball Rematches Lafayette on Wednesday

BOSTON – Returning to Pennsylvania for a mid-week contest for the second consecutive week, the Boston University women's basketball program plays its second game of the year against Lafayette on Wednesday (Jan. 21). Opening tip from the Kirby Sports Center is set for 11 a.m.
BU (5-12, 1-5 PL) looks to avenge its one-point loss to the Leopards (7-10, 3-3 PL) from Jan. 7. Last season, the Terriers went 3-6 in the second matchup against Patriot League foes.
Like the Terriers did so in the first meeting, Lafayette is hosting local schools for an education day. At home in 2025-26, the Leopards are 2-3.
Wednesday's game airs on ESPN+ as well as NBC Sports Philadelphia in the greater Philadelphia region. Live statistics are available through Lafayette's website while the Patriot League provides an international stream.
