BOSTON - The Boston University men's ice hockey program has added forward Tynan Lawrence to its roster, head coach Jay Pandolfo announced on Tuesday.
Lawrence, who is the co-youngest player in Division I men's college hockey, arrives at BU from the Muskegon Lumberjacks of the USHL, where he served as captain. He totaled 10 goals and seven assists for 17 points in just 13 games this season after returning from injury. Last year as a 16-year-old, Lawrence scored 25 goals and added 29 assists for 54 points in 56 regular-season games. He then went on to earn Clark Cup MVP honors after recording 18 points (8g, 10a) in 14 playoff games to help Muskegon win the title. Lawrence was also named to the 2025 USHL All-Rookie Team.
A native of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Lawrence played at Shattuck St. Mary's prior to joining Muskegon. Internationally, he helped Canada win bronze at the 2025 Hlinka Gretzky Cup in August.
