
Men's Ice Hockey Announces 2026-27 Schedule

BOSTON - Highlighted by 18 home games, including a weekend series against reigning national champion Denver, the Boston University men's ice hockey team announced its 2026-27 schedule on Thursday.
BU will play 36 regular-season games and host one exhibition contest. The Terriers will face seven teams that qualified for the 2026 NCAA Tournament; in addition to Denver, Quinnipiac, Providence, UConn and Merrimack will visit Agganis Arena at least once this season while BU will travel to Michigan State for a pair of games (Nov. 6-7) and visit Cornell (Dec. 4).
Fans can purchase season tickets here, with individual game tickets to go on sale at a later date. Game times will also be announced at a later date. All home and Hockey East games will once again be broadcast on ESPN+.
The Terriers will open the year with two tilts at Alaska (Oct. 2-3). Following their trip to Fairbanks, they will host Brown for an exhibition on Oct. 10 before opening Hockey East play with a weekend series at Vermont (Oct. 16-17). BU will then host the second night of a home-and-home series against UConn (Oct. 23-24) before closing October with two tilts against Maine at Agganis (Oct. 30-31).
After their trip to East Lansing, the Terriers will host a pair of midweek games against ECAC foes Harvard (Nov. 10) and Quinnipiac (Nov. 18). A home-and-home series with Merrimack will be next (Nov. 20-21) before the Pioneers come to Agganis on Nov. 27-28.
BU will make the program's first trip to Lynah Rink since 2002 when the Terriers skate against the Big Red. They will then make the short journey to Colgate the following night before returning to Boston to close out the calendar year against Northeastern at Agganis on Dec. 11-12.
The Terriers will begin 2027 with a trio of home-and-home series against UMass (Jan. 8-9), UMass Lowell (Jan. 15-16) and Providence (Jan. 22-23) before traveling to Chestnut Hill for a Jan. 29 meeting with Boston College. The Battle of Comm Ave will then return to Boston for the opening round of the 74th Dunkin' Men's Beanpot at TD Garden on Feb. 1. A trip to Maine on Feb. 5 will precede the second Monday in February before the Terriers open a home-and-home series with New Hampshire at Agganis on Feb. 19. BU and BC will meet two more times on Feb. 26 and 27, with the final tilt beginning a three-game homestand for the Terriers. The final two contests of the regular season will take place on March 5 and 6, as Northeastern and UMass Lowell visit Agganis.
