Women's Golf Charges to Lead at Warrior Invitational

HAVERHILL, Mass. - The Boston University women's golf team had a strong opening day to its 2026-27, jumping out to a 13-stroke lead after two rounds at the Warrior Invitational at Haverill Country Club on Monday.
The Terriers posted scores of 303 and 302 on Monday and sit in first at plus-29 with host Merrimack in second at plus-42.
All six BU golfers in the tournament will enter Tuesday's final round in the top 20 with senior Amy Han leading the way in a tie for third at plus-6 after rounds of 77 and 73. Sophomore Wendy Li shot 76-75--151 (+7) on Monday and sits in fifth.
Sophomore Sophia Zhang is tied for ninth at plus-9 (75-78--153) while senior Hibiki Adachi, playing as an individual, is 11th at plus-11 (81-74---155).
Making her collegiate debut, freshman Tatiana Ang opened with a 75 before adding an 81 in the second round and is currently tied for 12th at plus-12.
Sophomore Monica Wu rebounded from an opening-round 82 with a 76 in round two to move into a tie for 19th (+14).
