Daughter of Jeanne (CAS ’89) and Scott (COM ’87) Shaunessy … Sister, Caroline, was a two-year captain of Dartmouth’s women’s hockey team … Jeanne played lacrosse and field hockey at BU, helping the field hockey squad advance to the 1985 NCAA semifinals … Scott was a three-time Hockey East All-Star, winning two Beanpots and the 1986 Hockey East title before embarking on a nine-year pro career that included time in the NHL with the Quebec Nordiques … Uncle, Steve (’89), also played hockey at BU … Enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences, majoring in biology.
