Summary

Biography

Former Boston University men's tennis captain Jesse Frieder ('14) returns for his second season as an assistant coach with the Terriers after graduating from BU in 2014 from the Questrom School of Business.

In 2015, Frieder helped the Terriers advance to the Patriot League semifinals after they snapped Lehigh's five-year streak of reaching the semis. Both William Kwok and Jay Leelavanich received All-Conference honors, marking the first time in over a decade that BU had two men recognized for their singles performances.

During his time as a player, Frieder played singles in the top three slots and also was a key contributor in doubles. During his senior year in 2013-14, he posted a combined eight wins at No. 2 and 3 singles to help BU reach the Patriot League semifinals.

Before attending BU, Frieder earned All-State First Team honors three times and was the state champion his final year.
