Parking & Traffic Advisory - Oct. 18-20, 2024
Due to multiple events taking place at Boston University from Friday, Oct. 18, through Sunday, Oct. 20, a parking/traffic advisory has been issued for the following athletic events. Guests should plan for increased traffic and limited parking, and should proceed to the specified lot(s) below based upon the event to which you are attending.
Please also note DCR road closures and parking restrictions related to the Head of the Charles Regatta.
Friday, 10/18
Women’s Hockey vs. Maine / Men’s Hockey vs. UConn (Agganis Arena)
Parking is available at the event rate of $12 in following lots and garages: CFA Lot (LOT E) located at 855 Commonwealth Ave., Boston, MA 02215, Buick Street Lot (LOT D) located at 25 Buick St., Boston, MA 02215, and Agganis Arena Garage (LOT A) located behind Agganis Arena (925 Commonwealth Ave). Overflow parking is available in the Langsam Garage (LOT B) located at 142 Gardner St., Boston, MA 02215.
Field Hockey vs. Colgate (New Balance Field)
Parking is available at the event rate of $12 in the Langsam Garage (LOT B) located at 142 Gardner St., Boston, MA 02215.
Saturday, 10/19
Women’s Hockey vs. Maine / Men’s Hockey vs. Harvard (Agganis Arena)

Women’s Soccer vs. Bucknell (Nickerson Field)
Parking is available at the event rate of $12 in the Langsam Garage (LOT B) located at 142 Gardner St., Boston, MA 02215.
On Sunday, Oct. 20, the City of Boston is hosting an Open Streets Boston event from 10am-5pm. The event will close portions of Brighton Avenue and Harvard Avenue from 7am-6pm. Guests attending events on Sunday may experience higher traffic levels and need to take alternate routes to BU Athletics facilities. Access routes will remain typical for those traveling from the east. Travel from the west may be affected. Please reference the detour map.
PLEASE NOTE: If after searching for a parking space you find the garage to be full, you may insert your parking ticket at exit kiosks within 15 minutes of entry and the exit gate will open at no cost. You should then proceed to the designated overflow lot.
