BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY (Oregon Institute of Technology): Played two seasons as forward for coach Dan Miles and the Hustlin[apos] Owls of Oregon Institute of Technology... averaged 7.1 ppg, 4.0 rpg and shot 51.7 percent from the floor through 71 games in two seasons... named to the 2003 Germany Rookie South All-Star Team... OIT made it to the NAIA Division II Final Four in 2004-05 and the Sweet 16 a year later.
PERSONAL: Born on Aug. 16, 1984... son of Peter and Eva Gotzler... his grandfather was a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and a former president of the German Ice Skating Union... enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in psychology and minoring in business.
