AS A FRESHMAN IN 2023-24
Made collegiate debut on Feb. 9 against Merrimack, stopping all six shots he faced as part of a 7-1 victory.

BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY
Played first half of 2023-24 season for the Colorado Grit of the North American Hockey League, posting a .919 save percentage in 11 games … Prior to stint at Colorado, was captain of varsity team at The Governor’s Academy, where he was coached by former Terrier Brian McGuirk  … Won Hobey Baker Character Award as a senior … Two-time All-ISL honoree … Twice selected as his team’s MVP … Also played lacrosse and golf at Governor’s.

Son of Jill and Eric Lacroix … Has two siblings, Mia and Ty … Father, Eric, played collegiately at St. Lawrence before an eight-year career in the NHL … Grandfather, Pierre, was posthumously inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2023 after winning two Stanley Cups as president and general manager of the Colorado Avalanche … Max delivered Pierre’s induction speech, the youngest person in history to do so … Enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences.
