Indoor: During a multi-team meet on Feb. 5, placed seventh in the shot put with a distance of 11.20 meters... Set a season high in the shot put during the America East Indoor Championships, with a throw of 11.28 meters.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005-06

Indoor: Placed sixth in the shot put (10.31 meters) in BU[apos]s tri-meet against SHU and BC on Jan. 18... During the same meet also placed sixth in the weight throw with a distance of 6.25... Finished seventh in the weight throw on Feb. 6, with a distance of 7.87 and also finished seventh in the shot put with a distance of 9.99.

Outdoor: Placed fourth in the shot put with a distance of 9.76 at the Snowflake Invitational on March 26.

BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY

Attended Sutton Memorial High School... Was a four-year letter-winner in indoor and outdoor track and a captain of both teams his junior and senior years... His junior year was highlighted by a second-place finish in the shot put at the league indoor championships and sixth place at districts to help Sutton win the district meet... In 2005, finished third and fourth at league and district indoor meets and captained his team to a conference championship during outdoor season... Named a Suburban League Indoor All-Star in 2004 and 2005.
